Strong's Exhaustive Concordance

Type a King James English word — see every Hebrew or Greek term beneath it, with the original-language definition and a link to every verse where it occurs.

How to use this concordance

Three Ways to Use Strong's

  • Search by English word (above) — type any KJV word to discover its Strong's number, the original-language lemma, and the short definition.
  • Browse the lexicon — visit the Hebrew and Greek lexicons to walk through the dictionary alphabetically or by Strong's number.
  • Jump to a Strong's number directly — the URL /library/strongs/H1350 goes straight to the entry for any number, with the full definition and every verse where it appears.

Reading Notes

  • The search is case-insensitive and matches the exact KJV English form (so love, loved, and loveth are separate entries — each may sit beneath a different Strong's number).
  • The most common pairings appear first. A single English word can map to many Strong's numbers when KJV translators rendered different originals with the same English term.
  • From any Strong's entry you can read every verse where it appears, ordered Genesis → Revelation.
