22 ἐκ-λέγω [in LXX chiefly for בָּחַר ;] to pick out, choose . In NT always mid. (exc. Lk 9:35 , ἐκλελεγμένος , WH, ἀγαπητός , R, mg.), to pick out for oneself, choose (cf.
