4 ἔνδοξος , -ον ( δόξα [in LXX for כָּבַד , etc. ;] held in honour, of high repute : I Co 4:10 . glorious, splendid : of deeds, τά ἔ. , Lk 13:17 ; of clothing, Lk 7:25 . Metaph., ἐκκλησία , Eph 5:27 (cf. παράδοξος ).†
