1 * ἐσχάτως adv. , extremely, utterly ; ἐ. ἔχειν (= Lat. in extremis esse ), only in late writers (cf. ἐν ἐσχάτοις εἶναι , FlJ, Ant. , ix, 8, 6), to be at the point of death : Mk 5:23 .†
