5 ὁδηγέω , -ῶ ( ὁδηγός ), [in LXX chiefly for נחה , also for דּרךְ hi., הלךְ hi., etc.;] to lead on one's way, to guide : c. acc. pers., Mt 15:14 , Lk 6:39 ; id. seq. ἐπί , Re 7:17 . Metaph., to guide , instruct , teach : Ac 8:31 ; seq. εἰς τ. ἀλήθειαν ( ἐν τ. ἀ. , WH, mg.), Jo 16:13 (cf. Ps 24 (25):5 ).†
