6 ἀνα-πληρόω , -ῶ , [in LXX chiefly for מלא , Le 12:6 , al.; also שׁלם ( Ge 15:16 , III Ki 7:51 , Is 60:20 ), etc.;] to fill up , make full (in π. of completing contracts and making up rent; cf. MM, VGT , s.v.): τόπον , take one's place (cf. Heb. מָקוֹם מִלֵּא ), I Co 14:16 ; άμαρτίας , complete the number , I Th 2:16 ; τ. νόμον , observe perfectly , Ga 6:2 ; pass., προφητεία , fulfilled , Mt 13:14 . to supply : τὸ ὑστέρημα , I Co 16:17 , Phl 2:30 (Cremer, 838).†
