Bl., § 23, 1; Veitch, s.v.), [in LXX for יצע hoph., etc. ;] to spread : ἱμάτια ἐν τ. ὁδῷ ( εἰς τ. ὁδόν ), Mt 21:8 , Mk 11:8 ; of making a bed, στρῶσον (sc. τ. κλίνην ) σεαυτῷ , Ac 9:34 ; of furnishing a room, ἐστρωμένον , spread with carpets or carpeted couches (cf. Ez 23:41 ), Mk 14:15 , Lk 22:12 .†
