1 ** ὑπερ-φρονέω , -ῶ [in LXX: IV Mac 13:1 14:11 16:2 * ;] to be overproud, high-minded (Æsch.): μὴ ὑ. παρ’ ὃ δεῖ φρονεῖν (on the paranom., v. Vau., in l.), Ro 12:3 . to overlook, think slightly of (Thuc., Plat.).†
