9 ἀπ-αρχή , -ῆς, ἡ ( ἀπάρχομαι , to make a beginning in sacrifice, offer first fruits ), [in LXX chiefly for תְּרוּמָה , רֵאשִׁית ;] the beginning of a sacrifice . first fruits : τοῦ φυράματος (cf.
