2 χορηγέω , -ῶ ( χορός , ἡγέομαι ) [in LXX for כּוּל pilp. ;] to lead a χορός (v. LS, s.v.). to defray the cost of a χορός. In late writers, metaph., c. acc. (v. M, Pr. , 65), to supply, furnish abundantly : II Co 9:10 , I Pe 4:11 (Polyb., al.).†
